Your privacy is important to us. We realize that it's difficult to maintain privacy in an internet connected world, and typical website privacy policies can be lengthy and difficult to understand. It's important that you take the time to read this policy and understand it because your use of this site and the services provided on it are covered by it.
This policy explains what data we collect, how we receive that data, what we do with that data, and when and with who we might share that data.
Some services we provide may have their own privacy policies. You can access those additional policies through those services. If there is a conflict between this policy and the additional policy, the additional policy supersedes this policy.
- Data we collect
-
Asure Test collects data from you when you interact with us, our site, or you provide the data directly. What data we collect largely depends on what interactions you have with Asure Test, the products and services that you use, and the choices that you make when doing so. We may also obtain additional data about you or your business from third parties.
You are in control of your privacy on our site. If we ask you to provide personal information, such as your name, email address, address, phone number, or any other information that can be used to personally identify you, you can decline to provide it. If you decline to provide information that we ask for, and that information is required to provide you with a service, feature, or product, you cannot use that service, feature, or product. Additionally, if we are required by law to collect information from you to enter into a contract, or to provide a service, feature, or product to you and you decline to provide it, we will not be able to enter into the contract or provide you with the service, feature, or product. If you are already using a service, feature, or product, and you decline to provide information that we ask for, it may result in us suspending or canceling those services, features, or products.
There are two types of data that we collect:
- Personal data
- Anonymous data
Personal data is data that can be used to personally identify you or your business to us. This includes things like your name, email address, address, phone number, and payment information, to name a few. This information is almost always directly provided by you.
Anonymous data is data that cannot be used to personally identify you or your business to us. This includes things like your internet IP address, the pages you visited and when you visited them, the links you click, the files you download, and the type of device you used to access the site, to name a few. This information is not typically provided by you, but is usually provided by your web browser, your device, or your internet service provider. While this information cannot be used by Asure Test to obtain personal information, it may be possible for law enforcement or your internet service provider to use this information to personally identify you. Anonymous data can also be used by Asure Test to infer certain additional data. Your internet IP address, for example, can be used to estimate your general location, which can be used to infer certain things about you.
